My Signature Musts:
As I get older I’m wearing less and less makeup. I like showing my skin more now that I did 10 years ago which is a funny thing about aging. You embrace yourself. Love yourself in a more honest and pure way. I’m currently using RMS beauty’s “un”cover-up under my eyes in number 22.
The products are coconut oil based and melt into your skin. I like how hydrated my skin feels throughout the day unlike more traditional under eye concealer that dries out delicate skin. RMS products give you a dewy glow as if you had 8 hours of sleep when you clearly didn’t. The products come in little jars that I can quickly throw into my bag. I use my fingers to paint my face on… fast and the best way to blend everything together. I do set my t zone with the “un” powder just to keep my shine to a glowy minimum.
One Over One at 94% natural and 82% organic the cream color sets are a dream. Mine smells like roses and is less dewy than RMS which is great for when it’s a little too warm outside. Again I simply paint my face with my fingers and go. You can’t mess it up and the colors are beautiful.
I also use the highlighter by One Over One
91% natural and 21% organic. The companies transparency is inspiring. You know what you’re investing in. The quality is wonderful and results beautiful.
Le Labo: My favorite perfume. My favorite perfumery. I’ve worn Santal 33 and Lys 41 on rotation for years. I spray it on my sheets, on all of my clothes in my closet, in my luggage when I travel.
Each scent is made by hand on location at the time of purchase. The label is customized each time… my current one is labeled
“ i am lava”. Le Labo believes in the soul of fragrance and the quality of craftsmanship.
Their motto is my motto
“Act great, dear. Always act great”
This is why I gladly give them all of my money. Le Labo, you’re my kryptonite and I love you. Please partner with me so that my accountant stops asking me why my perfume is $160.
Lash Food!!! Brow Food!!!
I’ve been waiting for a company to come out with a natural eyelash enhancer that I could trust and it’s finally here. Lash Food can be found at Sephora and online.
No scary warnings of changing your eyes a different color. They’re committed to Purified Beauty meaning NO prostaglandin, NO sulfates, NO phthalates, and synthetic fragrances. The ingredients are made of skin loving, plant loving, plant-based, high-performance formulas. To make the deal a little sweeter a portion of the sales goes to building wells in developing countries. Now there’s something I can bat my lush lashes at.
I use the Lash Enhancing Serum
The Mascara and Conditioning Collagen Lash Primer
The Collagen Lash Primer not only keeps my lashes moisturize but allows the mascara to slide off my lashes when I wash my face. No rubbing… no special eye makeup removal… and more importantly no lashes falling out.
